Today, only one in three businesses are owned by women (The World Bank Gender Data Portal, 2020). According to the International Monetary Fund, 90 percent of income made by female entrepreneurs is distributed to their families and communities. Empowering women drives inclusive economic growth.
Supporting women who can generate employment for self and others, including work at home potential, translates to additional financial prosperity for families. Not to mention creating opportunities for women to expand valued business in our communities.

On Dec 31, 2020 my best friend & grandmother “Nana” Margaret passed, leaving my family deeply saddened and me feeling a little lost. As my biggest role model, she shared in my life’s accomplishments and failures, enduring the journeys excitement and stresses.
This one-of-a-kind individual was always on my team. Her ability to listen, understand, and encouragement to step out of my comfort zone was instrumental in my growth of becoming a strong and empowering woman.
Nana and her love (husband) of 51 years (Grandpa) were entrepreneur’s who enjoyed great successes owning their own businesses, demonstrated the importance of doing what you love, saying “when you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
Kassondra Rose – Founder & CEO. Rose is a name passed onto many of the females in my family. Starting with my Great-grandmother Rose, many of us have the word as a middle name including my daughter who is the 5th generation. Rose to our family translates to beauty and elegance.
My “Nana” Margaret at times in conversation placed great emphasis on tradition and history. She’s said quite often that her name meant “Pearl” derived from the Latin word Margarita.
The name represents our aspirations to help the women of the world be confident in their endeavors providing a little bit of elegance to the one-of-a-kind in all of us!
Another friendly face you might see at the store is my partner in life Trevor. He is the “natural borne salesman”, that you will usually find playing his guitar behind the desk when not practicing his OCD attributes: mopping the floors and putting everything away, in a place where I cant find it.
I fell in love with his “get to the point” story telling, and strong extrovert personality. Plus his homemade bread making skills are pretty good as well.
All jokes aside, I am beyond grateful he has jumped on this journey with me, being 100 % supportive even when the vision of Rose & Pearl was hard to see.
